Getting outside and enjoying the sunshine is my favorite part about the weather warming up in New England. Let’s be honest, it can be tough to get a fit off during the cold gray winters here. I’m looking forward to looking and feeling cute while taking walks; with my husband, my sons, or just by myself.
After the year we’ve just had I’m pretty much over wearing uncomfortable clothing and accessories. As the temperature rises the things you put on your body must feel good against your skin and while you move. Here are some of my favorites pieces:
As a midsize woman, two of my favorite things about shopping at Ash & Rose is always being able to find clothing that fits me properly, as well as colorful pieces with mixed patterns and textures.
If you’re nervous about wearing bright colors and mixed patterns, I recommend that you just start small. Start with subtle textures and prints. Stay low-key until you find what works for you. Then expand your color and texture palette as you get more comfortable. Little steps add up and you can have fun and experiment along the way. There’s no pressure, it’s only clothes.
